Gunpla is a portmanteau of "Gundam plastic model". It is a line of plastic model kits depicting the vehicles and characters of the fictional Gundam multiverse by Bandai. Gundam modeling spread in the 1990s with North America and Europe being exposed to Gundam through television, video and manga.

RG Grades - RG Gunpla are the newest grade of Gunpla. They are typically about 6 inches tall and have a very high level of detail. RG Gunpla are a good choice for experienced builders who want a challenging and rewarding build.

MG Grades - MG Gunpla are the most complex and detailed grade of Gunpla. They are typically about 10 inches tall and have a full inner frame. MG Gunpla are a good choice for experienced builders who want the ultimate in Gunpla detail.

PG Grades - PG Gunpla are the largest and most expensive grade of Gunpla. They are typically about 18 inches tall and have a full inner frame and a high level of detail. PG Gunpla are a good choice for the most serious Gunpla builders.

Mega Size Grades - Mega Size Gunpla are the largest grade of Gunpla. They are typically about 40 inches tall and have a simplified design. Mega Size Gunpla are a good choice for collectors who want a large and impressive Gunpla model.
