Gundam Timelines: Basics
Gundam is a Long Running Franchise that spawned many Anime, OVAs and other medias, There are many timelines in the Franchise and Here is a Guide to them:

Universal Century (UC): The main timeline of the Gundam franchise. It is set in the 21st century, after a devastating war between Earth and its colonies in space. The UC timeline is home to some of the most iconic Gundams, such as the RX-78-2 Gundam from the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime series.


After War (AW): This timeline is set 300 years after the end of the One Year War in the UC timeline. It features a post-apocalyptic world where humans and mobile suits have been forced to live in underground colonies.


Future Century (FC): This timeline is set in the 23rd century, after a series of wars between Earth and its colonies in space. The FC timeline is home to some of the most powerful Gundams, such as the Wing Gundam Zero from the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing anime series.


After Colony (AC): This timeline is set in the 23rd century, after a war between Earth and its colonies in space. The AC timeline is home to some of the most unique Gundams, such as the Turn A Gundam from the Turn A Gundam anime series.


Cosmic Era (CE): This timeline is set in the future, where humans have colonized space. The CE timeline is home to some of the most technologically advanced Gundams, such as the Strike Gundam from the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed anime series.


Advanced Generation (AG): This timeline is set in the 24th century, after a war between Earth and its colonies in space. The AG timeline is home to some of the most experimental Gundams, such as the G-Saviour from the Mobile Suit Gundam G-Saviour movie.


Regild Century (RC): This timeline is set in the 10th century after the end of the Universal Century. It features a more advanced technology than the UC timeline, and Gundams are used by both military and civilian forces.


Post Disaster (PD): This timeline is set 300 years after the end of the calamity known as the Calamity War. It features a world where humans have been forced to live in space colonies, and mobile suits are used by both military and civilian forces.


Advanced Newtype System (ANS): This timeline is set in the 24th century, after a war between Earth and its colonies in space. The ANS timeline is home to some of the most powerful Newtypes, such as the Gundam AGE-II Magnum from the Mobile Suit Gundam AGE anime series.


Ad Stella (AS): This timeline is set in the 32nd century, in a world where humans have colonized the solar system. It features a new type of mobile suit called the "Gundam Aerial".
